Hajj is the fifth Pillar of Islam and Muslims across the country, who can afford it, take part in the process every year. In that regard; the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs (MSWGCA) wishes to inform the general public that the 2019 Hajj process has officially started.
Prospective pilgrims should obtain the form FREE OF CHARGE at the Ministry or online from the Ministry’s website http://www.mswgca.gov.sl/hajj. Payment for this year’s Hajj process is US$5,000.00 (Five Thousand United State Dollars). The equivalent can be paid in Leones at the prevailing exchange rate.
All payments must be made at the SIERRA LEONE COMMERCIAL BANK; details of the Account Number will be provided upon the submission of Form on or before 30th June 2019.
